An import from New York, Marea is a stylish DIFC eatery and it’s gearing up to host a thoroughly festive spread.

The old fave. You’re guaranteed a couple of things at the McGettigan’s Day Brunch. Kicking off at noon, you’ll be welcomed with festive bevvies, canapes and plenty of Christmas Day cheer. The main event kicks off at lunch and it goes without saying the roast turkey and ham here will be on point.

Views. For. Dayssss. The Observatory is inviting you to a big jolly Christmas day out with festive drinks, free flow bubbly and rumour has it Santa himself will be making a visit, fresh from his world travels.

7. Ossiano, Atlantis The Palm

Ossiano needs no introduction. The fab Atlantis, The Palm restaurant is surrounded by a giant aquarium and entertainment by Clarita DeQuiroz. For Christmas Day, it’s offering a set menu titled ‘the Journey’. Note: no kids under 10 years (genius?!) and there is an a la carte menu option available.

6. Santa, Take Me to Bed pool brunch at Azure Beach, Rixos Premium JBR

It may not be a sleigh, but it’s the next best thing. The ‘Santa, Take Me to Bed’ Christmas Day brunch is a fun, chilled way to spend your day in the sun. It’ll be a pan-Asian feast, served directly to your sunbed (dream!) with a delish round of bites before the main event which features options ranging from Santa’s salmon sandwich, to a delish Crimbo sandwich (with turkey) and tropical treats to finish.

Carine is a like a classy Christmas all wrapped up with trinkets and a beautiful tree, and on Christmas Day you’ll be spoilt for choice with a three-course set menu available for groups of six and more. The festivities continue into the night, and out onto the chic terrace. Locally-famed Chef Izu helms Carine, so foodies, in particular, will appreciate this one.
