10 Quirky Spots To Get Breakfast This Weekend That You Probably Haven’t Thought Of

Avatar

Anyone else stuck in a rut ordering from the same places, and brunching (actual brunching) at the same spots every weekend?

There are TOO many good places in Dubai to not be at least a little bit adventurous.

You weekend resolution? Don’t be like Sponge Bob. Get out and try at least one of these awesome spots!

1. You have NOT lived until you’ve eaten breakfast at Farzi Cafe

This is modern Indian cuisine (it’s open for breakfast, lunch or dinner but we’re giving a special shout out to the breakfasts) and as well as being incredibly ‘gram worthy, this is food unlike you’ll get anywhere else.

For a genuine culinary adventure (think lots of billowing smoke and creative plating) head to the City Walk spot; with modern interiors and a fantastic spot for sitting outdoors and people watching when the weather is slightly more chill!

2. Sophie’s giving you all the ‘avo you need

The beautiful people at Sophie’s Al Barsha know exactly what the people want…and that’s breakfast ALL DAY.

This menu is made up of a mix of sweet and savory and a special shout out must go to the amount of avo’ on each dish.

Breakfasts at Sophie’s are now served until 9pm…Perfect for anyone who likes to forget what time it is when the weekend rolls ’round.

3. Sikka Cafe for something you’ve never tried before

Have your tried modern Emirati fusion food yet? Have you got plans this weekend? No? Then get yourself to Sikka!

If you’ve got time, head to the La Mer spot (Sikka Cafe also has a City Walk location), you’ll instantly chill out in the vacay style set-up and as well as being a totally funky cafe, the breakfast dishes at SIKKA are off-the hook.

While you’re here…check out the Sikka Cafe competition where we’ve giving away not one, not two but SIX meal vouchers. Answer one simple question to enter.

4. Pinch Gourmet for a weekend feast you won’t forget

This is the new kid on the block, and while it’s only a pop-up for now, the roaring weekend trade means this spot might just become a permanent feature.

Their motto is ‘seriously good food’ and it’s Canadian style eats, so prepare to loosen your belt and knuckle down for one serious feed.

5. Raju omlet for all your eggy-breakfasty needs

Shout out to this spot for a brilliant brekkie at a good price.

This is egg focused Indian street food and anyone lucky enough to live near Karama, JLT, Quoz, Safeer Mall (and there’s a Business Bay spot coming soon…these guys are growing!) will know why Raju Omlet is a breakfast for kings.

6. 7. 8. & 9 The Sheikh Zayed Road stretch for a breakfast crawl

There’s a little stretch of Sheikh Zayed road that’s home Bertin Bistro, Lime Tree Cafe, Bystro and Tub of Butter.

TRY THEM ALL, thank us later.

Start light with this epic braised beef benedict with organic poached egg at Lime Tree Cafe; you’ve got a long day ahead of you

Follow up with something sweet at Bertin Bistro – the pain perdu is worth every stinkin’ second in the gym

Stop in for a pastry at Bystro in the Lamborghini building- maybe save this one for later

Let Tub of Butter sort you for caffeine – it’s got a celeb’s face on it…how could you NOT

10. Go hard or go home at Denny’s

These American plates are bigger than your head, just LOOK at it.

Anyone who knows Denny’s will know this place knows good streaky bacon and maple syrup, and if you’ve got an American style feast in mind, you won’t go wrong at this SZR located diner.
