Thousands of revellers brave the traffic, year after year, to watch all that the country has to offer in terms of festivities, fireworks and fancy laser shows for an unforgettable NYE.

As a tribute to conclude the Year of Zayed, it used 11,284 fireworks for a 4.6km long chain on Al Marjan Island.
