7 Reasons To Get The Whole Family Down To Dubai Creek This Weekend
RiseDCH has organised a fun-filled weekend open to everyone from March 16-18th at the Dubai Creek Harbour Promenade. As part of their initiative to bring ‘The Future of Living’ to the city, RiseDCH will showcase the leading acts in the music world, retail, tech design and lifestyle experiences.
Here are seven reasons why your family, friends or even you alone would enjoy the vibes there this weekend:
1. Free screening of Harry Potter, yes it’s true
You get to re-live the magic with their free screening of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone on Thursday, Chamber of Secrets on Friday, and The Prisoner of Azkaban on Saturday.
The best part? It’s outdoors, giving you that old Hollywood vibe. All you need is a beanbag, popcorn and you’re all set!
2. Free Yoga Class on Saturday!
Brittany Paige will be hosting a complimentary one-hour session overlooking the city’s skyline. Take in this opportunity to find your zen, with the fresh breeze on Saturday from 2-3pm.
3. Because the food will be incredible!
They’ll have a SALT food truck for all the foodies to enjoy, a salad bar at Barsalata and The Inventing room if you’re feeling a bit playful with liquid nitrogen.
4. You get to take breathtaking abra rides by sunset

5. The music will be on another level
DJ Jason Pinto will perform on Thursday, followed by a musical performance by Norman Bataille. Check their schedule for all the others.
6. The kids will get to take advantage of the Kids Park
Children of all ages get to enjoy the jungle gyms, slides and even an interactive whale at the Kids Park. LittleBits will also take place to keep the kids engaged with an electronic lego pod on display!
7. Because HOLOLENS and virtual reality pods are always cool…
If you’re a sci-fi fan then you’re sure to enjoy this innovative POD they’ll have installed at the Creek. You get to experience Virtual Reality (VR) in action from Microsoft’s Hololens. How cool.
