This One Tweet From Careem Has People Pretty Confused About A Possible New Service

There’s nothing like a couple of tweets to make you smile, especially when there’s a big brand involved who aren’t taking life too seriously.

And Careem UAE, the homegrown UAE car booking service clearly have no problem having a laugh after one Twitter user called them out on a tweet they posted this morning.

It started out pretty simply when Careem posted this picture. We’ve seen plenty like it before…

However one Twitter user questioned the tweet

(The users profile is private but she basically questioned whether horses were part of Careem’s new fleet and if a carrot would be the new pricing unit…)

Careem came back with the best response…

That is per 100meters. An Apple per 15mins waiting, excluding a handful of sugar cubes for Salik ????

So that’s one apple for 15 minutes of waiting? And possibly a carrot for a jaunt around the Marina? Nice!…Although we reckon camels might be a sturdier investment.
