WATCH: This Man Got Reunited With His Dogs After The Torch Tower Fire And It’s So Heart Warming

A resident of the Torch Tower that had been present the time of the fire had left his dogs in the midst of the situation, only to be reunited with them once again thanks to Dubai Police. 

The heart-moving story of the resident was recorded and published on the Dubai Police Instagram page, where he spoke in Arabic about the details of the series of events and how he was lucky enough to be reunited with his dogs once again.

He didn’t think it was that serious when he came downstairs

“We were outside at 1:30am and didn’t expect the fire would be that serious when we realised we had left our two dogs upstairs. We immediately tried to figure out a way to get someone to rescue the both of them before the situation escalated.”

“I reached out to the first Civil Defence officer that I found and I had told them about the situation. 20-30 minutes later, they had told me they had already saved my dogs and they were safe.”

The police had rescued and kept the dogs safe at Barsha Police Station

“I immediately called 999, gave in all my details, and they called me back 5 minutes later telling me that they did indeed have my dogs safe at the Barsha Police Station. I absolutely couldn’t believe it! No where in the world would such a thing happen at such speed as well as care apart from the UAE.”
