When it rains in Dubai, all sorts of gloomy, beautiful thoughts enter the minds of our residents. 

After all, it’s a rarity to be able to witness rainfall in the UAE in general, so who can blame the people for wanting to romanticise it a little?

Following regular reports of the rain’s initial starting point around mid-day on Sunday, residents started taking their personal ‘view’ to various social media platforms. Of course, Lovin Dubai included. Some residents opted on a humoristic approach to embracing the rain, while others sought to take their lunch breaks out of the office for that ‘The Notebook’ effect.
