Get yourself down to Catboy’s Dubai Quiz

Who doesn’t love a pub quiz? That fact you know about how Oasis came up with the band name must come in use one day, right? That time you revised all the major cities in South America, and every film Jude Law’s been in…that info needs a home! 

Well, there’s a new quiz in town, and it’s going to give you the chance to flex your general knowledge powers.

Fronted and indeed organised by Dubai 92’s Catboy and Lorra, The Dubai Quiz will be held in The Westin’s Industrial Avenue every Monday from 7pm-10pm. The first one kicks off next Monday. So what can you expect?   

Catboy says: “We’ve already written and planned out the first forty weeks! No two weeks will ever be the same. We’ll always kick-off with a straightforward general knowledge round but then we’ve got a smorgasbord of ‘events’ and rounds that should be good fun for everyone, as well as taxing the old grey matter and several of your other skills and abilities.

 “Prizes for the evening will range from drinks, lunches, brunches and hotel credit, to our “Ridiculous Rollover” prize, which each team is allowed one guess at per week and the prize just gets more and more valuable. We’re expecting that to be a big one. Anyone who’s eaten at any of The Westin Mina Seyahi’s venues knows their food is amazing. They’ve laid-on some great packages for The Dubai Quiz, with competitive pricing.”

Every Monday night. 7-10pm at Industrial Avenue, The Westin Mina Seyahi. Entry is through China Grill. There’s a cash bar or a couple of other options…
 
Buffet dinner with soft drinks – 125AED
