HH Sheikh Mohammed’s Incredibly GENEROUS Donation To A UK School Has Transformed Lives Of Many Students

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s commitment towards education in not just our country but also in other countries is remarkable to say the least.

Case in point- a partnership that was announced last year between Godolphin, the global thoroughbred horseracing and breeding operation founded by our Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and the Newmarket Academy, a coed secondary school and sixth form, located in Newmarket, Suffolk.

Under the project titled the ‘Newmarket Academy Godolphin Beacon Project’ (NAGBP), HH Sheikh Mohammed, back in April, generously gifted a state-of-the-art library containing 15,000 books to the students of the school.

Six months later and the principal of the school has described HH Sheikh Mohammed’s support towards the academy as ‘transformational’

The five year collaboration includes a AED11 million investment and some serious commitment from Godolphin to the Newmarket Academy.

Speaking to a regional daily, the principal of the school has regarded HH Sheikh Mohammed’s support as life-changing for their students.

“This community is incredibly lucky to benefit from the ongoing support and vision of Sheikh Mohammed. His kindness and determination will change the lives of everyone in this town. The school, governors, parents and above all the students, are very grateful,” said he.
