HH Sheikh Mohammed And HRH Princess Haya Just Shared The Same Heartbreaking Instagram Post

The UAE is standing in solidarity with the Rohingya refugees who are fleeing violence and persecution in Myanmar in their hundreds of thousands.

We’ve reported on the outstanding support shown by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who offered his private plane to create an air bridge to transfer much needed supplies to the over 600,000 refugees that have arrived in Bangladesh.

HRH Princess Haya shared this update calling on the UN and global powers to put a stop to the crisis

“Over the past week alone, more than twenty thousand Rohingya have fled brutal persecution in Myanmar — their homes burned, many brutally beaten, family members murdered. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum generously created an open air bridge which continues to deliver humanitarian items to those who need it most. But this is not enough! The UN and global powers must stop this ethnic cleansing now or thousands more will surely die in the weeks ahead. Each day they wait, more lives are lost.”
