That Beautiful Pedestrian Bridge Over Dubai Canal Has Been Named By HH Sheikh Mohammed

To commemorate the 22nd International Day of Tolerance on Thursday, November 16, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to Twitter to unveil the name of the pedestrian bridge over the Dubai Canal.

It’s now called as the ‘Tolerance Bridge’

The UN launched International Day for Tolerance as an initiative to promote peace, tolerance and mutual understanding between people from various cultures, something that our ruler completely stands by.

Tolerance is synonymous with the UAE. It is a fundamental value of our people and an essential element for our development and prosperity in the future.

Sheikh Mohammed also celebrated the occasion by releasing a video montage featuring our country’s rulers and emphasising on how deeply chrishable ‘tolerance’ is in Islam.
