If it’s good enough for Maradona!

Last week we told you about Lock Stock & Barrel, the latest happening night spot in Tecom. If you’ve had a chance to check it out, you won’t be surprised by the positive reviews, and you wouldn’t be the only person impressed. Last night Dubai resident Diego Maradona was seen here having a sing along and a jolly good time.

This isn’t the first time that Maradona has been spotted out and about in Dubai, from playing football to attending live events to the odd celebration, there is no sign that his love affair with our favourite emirate is coming to an end. Only recently he was quoted as saying he will remain in Dubai for the rest of his life. 

“I cannot hide the fact that I will stay in Dubai until the day I die as I have a lost a huge part of my family when my mother and father passed away. This city is the right place for me to live normally and have a steady lifestyle. I feel like I am a local citizen and I am proud of that.”
