Late Payments Of Electricity And Water Bills Will Result In Fines Now

Failure to make timely payment for water and electricity bills will now cost a lot more, peeps.

Federal Electricity and Water Authority (Fewa) has announced that a fine of AED 100 will be imposed on ANY outstanding fees.

Bills have to settled within four days to avoid the fines.

This will be effective from the time they receive an alert text message on their cell phones, according to a top official, who spoke to Khaleej Times.
