Team Angel Wolf Are Ready To Take On Another World-Record In Dubai
Team Angel Wolf is back at it again with a new aim to break TWO Guinness World Records- for open water swimming records.
Team Angel Wolf formed by members of the Watson family has been making rounds in Dubai. The team has been raising awareness of people (especially children) with disabilities and people of determination should be included in more activities, especially athletic ones. Dad Nick Watson, mom Delphine, Rio and sister Tia forms the Dubai-based group, that started of the family’s hope: to spread awareness on childhood illnesses and promote healthy living. Nick and Delphine’s son Rio was diagnosed with Q44 Deletion De Novo, which means that he has troubles with walking and speaks through sign language.
But that doesn’t stop the inspiring father-and-son duo from going forth to conquer big records while raising awareness in the community.
The two will attempt to smash records for the 5km and 10km open water swim
Nick Watson, a former Royal Marine and athlete, will take on the open water swim challenge while his 16-year-old son Rio will be in a kayak behind him.

This will be an addition on top of the 190 races the team have already taken part in- since 2014
Don’t let his illness make you think otherwise, because Rio along with his sister Tia and Dad Nick have taken part in 190 races since 2014- and do so in the most enthusiastic way. Local reports say that during the 10km open water race, Nick will have ankle bands attached to 3km of cords that will be hooked up to the kayak where Rio will sit.
