Rio’s sister Tia, from the Team Angel Wolf, shared a crucial message on Saturday about why people need to stop saying the ‘R’ word in common, day-to-day language.
If you’re unfamiliar with Team Angel Wolf, they are a team formed by members of the Watson family, that runs or joins triathlons and marathons within the Dubai community to raise awareness on the inclusion of people with disabilities (or person of determination, rather) in fitness activities.
Since then, the team has been involved in an ever-changing community, giving children of determination the chance to partake in fun fitness activities that not only spread the word but truly inspire people.

People often forget the true meaning of the word, and the use of it in daily vocabulary with a negative connotation is just unacceptable.
The video has since received immense love from people in the community, who commented their vows to stop using the word.
