An International Survey Shows That UAE Has Some Of The Cheapest Bottled Water In The World
The UAE is among the countries where the base price of bottled water is the lowest compared to the rest of the world, according to a survey by NationMaster.
Bhutan gets the top spot for having the cheapest 1.5-litre bottled water at a base price of AED1.14 and Greenland ranks the lowest with the most expensive ordinary 1.5-litre bottled water AED16.77.
The survey polled that that a 1.5- litre bottle of water is sold for AED1.95 in the UAE, ranking it the 22nd cheapest from 181 countries
But in the UAE, these published prices are just accurate when you are shopping for water at the local hypermarkets.
