If you’ve visited Souq Naif, The Gold Souk or any other souks from the other side of town, then you’ll be familiar with the sometimes unexpected, other times amusing but overall an enjoyable experience that one must undergo, at least once.

It’s no surprise that when a foreigner (or anyone unfamiliar with the souk) walks around Deira will be receiving funny looks. Prepare for that. You’ll also be offered items from watches, shoes, cosmetics left and right. 

It’s all in good fun, and you’ll get a feel of a traditional ‘street’ market in a more modern, Dubai way.
