A 70-Year-Old-Man Has Beaten His Wife Which Lead Her To Fracturing Her Jaw
A 70-year-old man has been accused of beating and pushing his 44-year-old Emirati wife down the stairs.
The couple were allegedly in the middle of a heated argument which lead to her husband beating her up and pushing her down the stairs causing her to fracture her jaw earlier this October.
The wife was rushed to the hospital where it was stated that the suspect had caused her a 15% permanent disability.
A case of domestic violence
Investigations have been on going and the Family and Juveniles Prosecution accused the elderly for assaulting his wife, accused the wife of assaulting the husband, as well as accused her brother, who was involved in the situation.
The husband has failed to appear before the Dubai Courts of First Instance resulting to the presiding judge to sentence him in absentia this month.
The trial will continue before the Family Misdemeanours Court.
