11 Things That Drive Everyone Crazy Every Time They Visit Dubai Mall
Dubai Mall, a.k.a The Concrete Jungle, a.k.a The Biggest Mall In The World, a.k.a one place we will never get tired of.
If dreams could ever come true, all the people of the world know that we got the luckiest Nov 4 2008, when the largest shopping mall in the whole wide world opened up just here in Dubai, with over 1000 retailers!
Attracting more than 54 million visitors every single year, people will never get tired of this establishment that we’ve grown to love over the years.
But there are just a few things we are slightly irritated by….
1. Dude, where did I park?
No seriously, which door did we come in from?
2. So many options, not enough stomach
Entering the Food Court is probably one of the most heartbreaking thing you can do to yourself; HOW do you even choose what to eat when you want EVERYTHING?!
3. When the only place you will ever know the directions to, is the Aquarium
Because you will never miss the big blue tank right in the middle of the mall even if you were blind.

4. You will never ever ever complete a full course around Dubai Mall
“Did this store even exist last week?”
“This does NOT look familiar.”
“When did Dubai Mall get their own Gold Souk!?”
5. It’s more tiring walking to the taxi line than around the actual mall
Because the only place you can actually get a cab from is right at the bottom, right at the end, right at the back of the mall.
6. But it’s even worse trying to get to the metro
If you’re trying to train for a marathon they’ve got it hooked up – it’s BAAAAAAASICALLY a four kilometre walk.
7. Trying to find the store you want is close to impossible
It’s either you stumble past it by luck, or you just don’t at all.
8. No matter what you say, you will always spend too much money
Your Uber won’t work now and you’re crying about the walk to the metro. We’ve all been there.
9. Will people ever stop taking photos of the dancing fountain?
Ok – yes we understand that it’s pretty cool and all that, but are you guys not bored yet?
Honestly, we’re just trying to have some peaceful Tim Hortons out here.
10. Kiosk staff forcing their products on you
Please stop spraying me with all your perfumes! 5 different scents in and it doesn’t smell as good anymore.
11. Is this parking EVER going to be open?
It just happens that the Fashion Parking is the most convenient one – but obviously the smallest one as well.
And as for every other floor we want to park on? Obvs closed.
