A Selfie In A Sharjah Salon Caused A Physical Fight Between Four Women

It is illegal in the UAE to take pictures of someone without their consent, but usually, most people let it slide. Over the weekend, a simple selfie ended in broken bones. After having their makeup done, three Arab women took a selfie to show off their new looks in a Sharjah-based salon. Their selfie apparently captured an uninvolved woman in the background. 

The Police were called to calm the situation down

The Police were called once a physical fight broke out between the women. The woman, a GCC national was taken to hospital with a broken thumb and cuts and bruises on her body. According to the police, the woman had expressed her issues with being involved in the picture, but she was ignored. Initial investigations show the GCC woman was visible in the selfie the three Arab women had taken.
