A Weather Warning Is In Place For Strong Dusty Winds And Rough Seas

The National Centre of Meteorology has warned of strong winds, a lot of dust and rough seas.

It has urged motorists, allergy patients, asthma sufferers, road users, and sea-vessels, to take all appropriate precautions due to the strong winds.

Visibility will be reduced and huge waves are expected

Strong dust winds are expected to reduce horizontal visibility to 1,000-3,000 metres across different regions.

While rough seas will see waves reaching up to 12 feet in the Arabian Gulf and waves reaching 5 – 7 feet in the Sea of Oman.

The warning is in place from 7pm tonight until 2pm Monday 22.
