Viva Espańa! Burj Khalifa Lit Up To Honour Spain On Its National Day
Spanish residents woke up to a beautiful surprise, after seeing their country’s flag displayed on Burj Khalifa.
The tallest tower in the world is known for honouring different countries’ by displaying their flags during momentous occasions for that nation, and Spain has joined the list of streamers.
October 12 marks Spain’s National Day, called the Fiesta Nacional de Espańa– this day is considered a national holiday for the people. It commemorates the anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s first arrival in the Americas.
