Diego Maradona Has Just Signed On To Coach The Fujairah Football Club

Anyone who knows anything about football knows the name, Diego Maradona. The Argentine footballing legend has just added another year of coaching to his CV by signing on to coach the Fujairah Football Club. Rashid Ali Garcia, Maradona’s advisor, posted to the UAE club on his Twitter account regarding the move stating that he has made the decision to sign on for the twelve month period. Fujairah FC then posted a photograph of the new coach on their Twitter account.

This is not the 56-year-old retiree’s first coaching gig, however, he took on the role for Dubai’s Al Wasl club from 2011-2012 following a 2008-2010 stint for the Argentine national team. 

And he’s definitely embracing the culture of the UAE

There are currently talks of building an AED 52 million football stadium in the Emirate.
