Not that we need any validation, but it doesn’t hurt to have our things officially recognised…like Dubai beaches.
The city’s several pristine beaches meet the international environmental standards of cleanliness and they’ve earned the coveted Blue Flag.
Blue Flags are awarded to beaches and marinas for their clean water quality, environmental education, safety and environmental management…so this is totes legit!
Where can you find these flags in Dubai
These flags are now in place at Jumeirah 1, 2 and 3 beaches and Umm Suqeim 1 and 2 beaches.
In fact, these Blue Flag awards began in the UAE in 2010, with 28 beaches (of those 10 are public beaches) getting this honorary status across the country.
