Dubai Customs Have Recorded That 18 Million Bags Have Been Inspected Already This Year

Dubai International Airports has released statistics stating that they have dealt with around 12 million passengers in the Dubai Customs’ Passenger Operations Department.

With the 12 million passengers, roughly 18 million luggage items, coming through 39,000 flights, have been checked during the first half of 2017.

Smart Inspection System

Since the start of 2017, 360 seizures and 6,500 customs transactions have been recorded with the help of the Smart Inspection System that reduces inspection time by 70% and is the first of its kind.
