Dubai Features In First Ever FB Live Ad For Virgin Holidays
It's not the first time the city has stolen the show
Virgin Holidays is taking its social media game pretty seriously.
It recently tried a little experiment of taking the real-time appeal of social media to broadcast TV. The result: a commercial that was streamed live from 18 locations in eight countries (including the UAE) to a master control room in London and then broadcast as a 60-second spot with a live voiceover during X Factor last weekend.
The activity was to launch Virgin Holidays' campaign 'Seize The Holiday'. The company was sending out a pretty straightforward message - individuals do not need to settle for the next best option when planning holidays. What comes across as a trip-of-a-lifetime is actually doable. We totally agree with that!
