Dubai Food Festival Announces Winners For The Top 10 Emirati Restaurants

Avatar

After two weeks of online polling from 3,485 voters, 10 city-wide restaurants have been crowned top Dubai Hidden Gems, the winners’ list can be found here.

Dubai Hidden Gems was created in order to raise awareness of the hidden and smaller delicious finds found across Dubai. After a shortlist of 50 was selected by top food influencers, like Muna Al Shamsi and Talal Al Rashed, voters in Dubai were given the chance to pick the top ten outlets.

RoundMenu and Zomato’s ratings of these restaurants helped compile the best Emirati restaurants in Dubai. With the huge array of international restaurants in Dubai, sometimes the best local food gets lost in the mix, however; this list has helped these amazing Emirati restaurants to shine.

In light and part of the Dubai Food Festival coming up soon, here’s top ten Emirati restaurants you should check out:

1. Local Bites Cafe

This cafe off Jumeirah Beach Road gives off a hippie yet local vibe, offering good prices on many traditional recipes. The decor is also inclusive of UAE icons in a vintage black-and-white color scheme.
