Immigration Officers At DXB Made A 6-Year-Old Girl’s Day By Putting A Stamp On Her Stuffed Toy’s Handmade Passport

The immigration officers at the Dubai International Airport are nothing if not friendly and gracious.

They recently indulged a six-year-old Dubai girl by treating Rainbow Dash, her one-year-old stuffed pony toy just like any other traveler.

The grade one student, Nuha Khan, had made a handmade passport for her toy while travelling to their home country, India. When Nuha and her mother reached the immigration counter, she requested for a stamp on her toy’s passport. And who would have thought…the officer immediately took approval from his leader and stamped the dummy passport, just to make the girl happy.

They even stamped her toy’s dummy passport when they returned back to Dubai from their holiday.

The mother of the child, Uzma Fatima, spoke to Gulf News about this incident.

“We were so impressed by how respectful, attentive, supportive and authentically caring and friendly the immigration officers were to us. They made us all really happy. I am sure Nuha will keep the stamped passport forever,” said she!
