Dubai Launches ‘Let’s Make This Summer Green’ Campaign And You Can Make A Difference
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) have launched their ‘Let’s Make this Summer Green’ campaign for 2017.
The campaign also ran last year, looking to promote a greener approach to electricity and water usage in Dubai.
The campaign runs from May until the end of August
It focuses on several guidelines including reducing power consumption during peak hours, 12 noon to 6 pm, setting the AC to 24C, tips for when away on summer vacation, fixing water leaks, and installing drip irrigation systems.
“We urge everyone to adopt a conscious and responsible lifestyle, especially during summer time,” said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA.
