Dubai Police Honors UAE’s First Blind Teacher

In the spirit of World Teacher’s Day, Dubai Police has honored the first blind teacher, Ahmed Mukhtar Al-Bulooshi, in the UAE.

He has put in the efforts to introduce Braille in the syllabus and has also given Braille training to the teachers, so they can teach and help out special needs students.

He is the first blind teacher in the country

He has helped many visually impaired students with their studies and has also been in touch with his student’s families to discuss their studies and performances according to local news.

It is very challenging to teach visually impaired children and it is heartwarming to see institutions finding new ways to teach people with special needs.
