Dubai’s Crown Prince Took A Tesla For A Proper Test Drive During The Rain

Dubai’s Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum uploaded photos and videos of him driving around a Tesla recently. The Instagram stories showcased the Crown Prince driving through Sheikh Zayed Road during the downpours of the rain. 

Just a month ago, Elon Musk visited and met with Dubai’s ruler HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during Tesla’s launch in the UAE. One of its first customers in the country was Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), who agreed to procure 200 vehicles to expand its conquest to go green and to lead its people by example.

The Crown Prince’s driving of the car and informing of its people via social media is a great way of pushing for the greater good. We love it. Especially at a time when the cost of fuels keep increasing, to influence one person will influence another and this will help reduce the consumption of fossil fuels in the country.

  Reports state that the prices for these cars start at AED275,000 for Model S and AED 344,000 for Model X.
