A Father Of Eight Forgot His Ten-Year-Old Son At The Mall And Only Realised After Getting Into An Accident
A family on holiday, from a neighbouring a Gulf country, left behind their ten-year-old son in a shopping mall.
The family of eight, excluding the parents, said to have left the mall and only realised that one of their children were missing when they had experienced a minor accident.
They hit the kerb of a roundabout right outside the Dubai Police’s General Department of Transport and Rescue office
The family only realised that they were missing a head after the minor accident which resulted their tyre to burst.
Director of the Land Rescue Department, Lieutenant-Colonel Abdullah Bishwa, said they had heard the incident and went outside to see what was going on and make sure no one was harmed.Â
The father claimed that he had forgotten about his son because he was tired and carrying many shopping bags
Once the father discovered what he had done, officers immediately helped the family fix the tyre, as well as escort the father back to the mall to find this missing child.
Once reaching he mall, his son was already with the correct authorities and they were able to be reunited immediately.
