Food Fest Kicks Off In Lafayette Gourmet Next Week – And It’s Already Making Us Hungry

If there’s one thing we love more than a one-day food event, it’s a three-day food event.

Running from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th September, Galerie Lafayette’s fourth annual Gourmet Food Fest will be bringing together some of the best international chefs, influential foodie bloggers and the city’s eager diners (that’s us) for three days of culinary fun, recipe workshops and – most importantly – tastings.

With the likes of master chocolatier Phillipe Marand and Six Senses Zighy Bay chef Richard Lee taking to Lafayette Gourmet’s 10 international kitchens, there’ll be no shortage of delicious, innovative food, and the event promises to wow foodies from all over the city.

“I am very excited about this year’s Food Fest; we have had a lot of fun with the last three, and the fourth one will be even bigger. We have brought together a fantastic group of chefs, producers and foodie fans for a celebration of real food.”

Russell Impiazzi, culinary director, Lafayette Gourmet told Hotelier Middle East

Other notable appearances include Karen McLean, the award-winning food blogger behind Dubai-favourite Secret Squirrel Food, who will be running a #FFfoodstagram workshop (don’t worry Karen, we’ll start tagging!) and Noreen Wasti, founder of the ever-popular Noni’s Place blog.

As if that wasn’t enough, there will also be live music, magicians, jugglers… and even stilt walkers.

Let’s hope they’re balance is up to the task. No pressure.
