Founders Of The Pizza Guys Open New Italian Soul Food Restaurant In Dubai Mall
Apparently, Pi.Dubai is all about the dough. The delicious, delicious dough.
Opened by the founders of Dubai-favourite The Pizza Guys (an authentic New York style pizzeria that you absolutely have to try), their newest offering occupies the lower ground floor of The Dubai Mall and is all about quality, artisan Italian fare – something we simply can’t get enough of.
From the ‘peekytoe crab’ to the ‘veal chop parmigiano’, founders Amber Haque and Rami Badawi have described the cuisine as “contemporary Italian soul food” – priding themselves on using only fresh, organic veggies and antibiotic-, hormone-free meats.
“People come in here and are a little shocked because it’s not your typical mall restaurant. We’re honouring tradition but not being bound by it. On a lot of our pizzas you will find things that you wouldn’t elsewhere.”

Regular pizza joint this ain’t. Ahead of the Pi.Dubai launch, the duo actually cooked up their own delicious dough recipe, sourced ingredients from all over the world, and strengthened ties with various local UAE suppliers.
Let’s just hope it can match the rip-roaring success of The Pizza Guys. One thing’s for sure, we can’t wait to try it.
