Here are a few things you can do that won’t cost you a dirham.
1 Dubai Tour
The Dubai Tour has its HQ set up at Dubai International Marine Club (Mina Seyahi) and you can visit the village, meet some of the riders and see shows, live music and an acrobatic bike show on Friday and Saturday.
2 McClaren Polo Cup finals
Rub shoulders with high society at the polo on Friday, with the finals of the McClaren Polo Cup at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort.
Desert Palm will be playing against UAE Polo at 3pm.
3 Pet Festival
Take your furry friends down to du Arena on Yas Island for the annual pet festival. There’s a cat beauty competition, a petting zoo, a dog show and plenty of exhibitors. It’s a lovely grassy outdoor area too, perfect to stretch your canine friend’s legs in a safe environment.
4 Hatta Honey Festival
Head to Hatta Heritage Village this weekend to see the Hatta Honey Festival. Local beekeepers will be on hand to talk about their bees, with plenty of honey merchandise for sale, workshops and seminars and a gallery for honey products.
