People switching jobs in the UAE can breathe a sigh of relief!

Residents already living in the UAE no longer have to apply for a good conduct certificate as it’s not a mandatory document anymore.

According to a new circular issued to all Amer and Tasheel centers in Dubai, a good conduct certificate is not required for anyone transferring visa or sponsorship visa for foreign workers inside the UAE.

People seeking employment in the UAE are not exempted from obtaining a good conduct certificate

Workers from other countries wanting to work in the UAE will still have to obtain the good conduct certificate for their visas to be processed.

After that certificate is issued, it must then be attested by UAE diplomatic missions, or oversees Customer Happiness Centres at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

However, the domestic workers from Philippines and Indonesia can obtain a work visa without the good conduct document too.
