HH Sheikh Hamdan Issues Decree On Public Holidays In Dubai
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai has issued a decree concerning the announcement of public holidays in Dubai.
Resolution No. 14 of 2018 states that public holidays will be announced by the Department of Human Resources of the Dubai Government, the department will specify the dates, considering working hours of government bodies and organisations.
The Director-General of the Human Resources Department shall issue the necessary circulars to implement the provisions of this resolution.
The resolution shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
The department is the only entity authorised to announce official holidays in Dubai.
