Dubai's very own 'promise bridge' opened up at The Yard in the Al Khawaneej area in January and people are loving the concept.

In just a couple of months, the bridge has already accepted 4,000 locks for the cutest reason... 

Similar to the famous Pont des Arts  'Love-lock bridge' in Paris, people can visit the bridge to lock-in a promise with someone you love, or simply any promise you want to make.

The Promise Bridge had an extra-special visitor this week

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai was spotted visiting the area which is also home to a rural courtyard, a market for organic farms, hiking area and space for kids play.

It's part of a wider development

Which will include a shopping mall, a cinema, a gym, a lake and various outlets
