A month ago when UAE provided an emergency airlift worth AED830,000 to the displayed Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh who fled violence in Myanmar—it became the first Arab nation to do so!

And as the crisis sadly becomes more severe than ever, UAE has continued its efforts to provide humanitarian aid to the refugee Muslims of Myanmar whenever necessary, bringing the total number of airlifts to six thus far.

HRH Princess Haya recently posted an alarming Instagram post to highlight what can be said as the world’s fast growing refugee crisis.

Princess Haya also explained all the UAE’s efforts to assist the Rohingya Muslims

In the Instagram caption, she writes: “Swift and timely transfer of aid is crucial in the harsh lives of Rohingya refugees. Every minute counts! As the crisis sadly deteriorates, HH Sheikh Mohammad generously offered his private plane to deliver much needed humanitarian aid as part of the emergency airlift bridge HH recently created. Three more airlifts went out from International Humanitarian City (IHC) on October 11th, 13th and 15th bringing the total number of airlifts to 6 so far. Each one contained a full load of urgent core relief items provided by @ihc_uae members and partners.”

The first two airlifts were sent on September 12, whereas the third one was sent on October 3. As per the post the fourth, fifth and sixth emergency aids were sent on October 11, 13 and 15 respectively.
