Is that hailstones in Mirdif?

First it was talk of rain, then the Emirate was emerged in fog for half the day and now…HAIL. We kid you not. 

Lovin Dubai sources (ok, ok a member of the Sharjah Wanderers rugby team that we sometimes hang out with), has sent us a picture of him holding said hailstones. He was out and about in Mirdif, when he was caught in what he thought was rain, painful rain, only to look down and see it was hail. Lucky for us he managed to grab a handful and even take a picture…good man!
