Fourth of January marks the anniversary of Burj Khalifa and it has been nine wonderful years.
As the world’s tallest, and one of the most stunning buildings in the world celebrates its birthday today, we decided to list down nine moments when this man-made beauty totally took our breath away.
1. When Tom Cruise climbed the mid-section of Burj Khalifa for a death-defying stunt for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
And gave us this ICONIC scene…
2. Or when HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, climbed the tip of the structure to hoist the UAE flag
What a moment!
3. Every time when it gets completely enveloped by fog and the visual blows our minds
4. Or this one time when a massive electrical storm hit the building and the thunder strikes blasted across the skyline in an impressive scene
5. When we realised the design of the building has been inspired by a regional desert flower called Spider Lily
