A Dubai Resident LEGIT Mapped Out The Words “UAE National Day” While On A Run And It’s Quite Something

A splendid display of patriotism was seen on Sunday on the occasion of UAE’s 47th National Day.

From street shows to public gatherings, fireworks or the spectacular fly past by the UAE airlines, it was a moment for everyone- Emiratis and expats alike to commemorate this glorious day.

Some people began their celebrations by dressing up in the colours of UAE’s national flag, others decorated their vehicles to show their love for the country.

One Dubai resident, however, decided to pay tribute to the UAE in a rather novel way.

Meet Lee Ryan

He is a Dubai-based endurance coach, world-record holder athlete and above all a father of two beautiful girls

On his usual morning route, while on a 30km training run, he decided to actually map the words “UAE National Day” to commemorate the occasion

He later used his GPS to retrieve the image

The wording might be a tad illegible but must say…what an attempt!

Local brand Careem, too, did something equally special on Sunday

With the help of 47 drivers, they set out to create region’s first digital greeting across the UAE.

Check out how they undertook this massive task

When it comes to paying tribute to the UAE, the bar has been raised people!
