LOOK OUT: There Are Now Smiling Emojis On The Road And They’re The Best Thing Ever

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Development has just launched a project to help raise awareness about road safety in the UAE – by placing HUGE smiling emojis on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. 

The three large smiley emojis are displayed on the northern side of the country on the road with messages saying ‘Drive safely’ in English, Arabic and Urdu.

The project is aimed at spreading happiness amongst those driving

Ahmed Al Hammadi, the Director of the Roads Department at the Ministry, stated that more smileys will emerge and appear on the roads in the near future, “Emiratis and residents of the country are at the centre of the ministry’s policies, we work to bring happiness and road safety to them.’
