The Man Who Posted The Viral ‘Crying Man’ Video On Social Media Has Been Arrested By The Dubai Police
This all began when a man filmed a video of a worker crying in a Cars taxi station in Dubai and uploaded it on social media without his permission.
The video became viral in no time forcing the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai (RTA) to intervene and issue a series of tweets regarding the incident.
We would like to clarify that the video being circulated on social media regarding the man crying in a Cars taxi station in Dubai. He does not work for the company, nor does he have any fines registered in his name.

He was there to ask about the AED20,000 fines which a relative who works for the Cars company had accumulated.

The investigation is underway to find out the reasons for the accumulation of fines on the driver.

The person who filmed the man crying and then posted it on social media will be found and prosecuted.

And now the man responsible behind the filming incident has been detained and referred to the public prosecution.
Fines for acts including filming videos of people without their permission and circulating them on social media can range from AED150000 to AED500000.
