A Man Was Caught Trying To Smuggle 400G Of Gold From Dubai In The Most Uncomfortable Way

A man has been arrested for trying to smuggle gold from Dubai in his rectum. 

Deepak Kumar was flying from Dubai to New Delhi when he was stopped at the Chandigarh International Airport on Monday attempting to smuggle 407 grams of 24-carat gold- which was hidden in his rectum as to avoid custom charges.

Customs officials had received a tip-off beforehand approaching Deepak. 

At first, he denied the charge and refused to drink tea or coffee that was being offered to him by officials, but later on gave in and confessed.

Deepak was accompanied to a washroom where the gold was retrieved from his rectum. 

Further investigations proved that Deepak was part of a gang of smugglers who are now trying to be identified – for now he has been taken into custody for interrogations and will be prosecuted as per the Customs Act.
