So we all know that certain apps and services are restricted in the UAE. While social media isn’t blocked, features such as Facebook Messenger calling and Whatsapp calling are blocked. It’s not really known why, Skype works to a degree, and so does Google’s calling app Duo.

According to Facebook founder, the Dubai government are to blame. He amazing made this allegation while replying to a Facebook comment by Dubai based Simon Ismail.

Zuck shared this post about Whatsapp Calling

Simon Ismail, from the Maldives, living in Dubai, wasn’t expecting this reaction from his comment

Many people said the reply from Zuck was ‘Savage’

It seems strange that he would reply to this comment, as he didn’t reply to most of the 28,000 unless he really is annoyed the service isn’t working here!
