Omar Borkan had made headlines all around the world back in 2013 when news of him being exiled from Saudi Arabia for being ‘too handsome’ had broken the internet.

The Iraqi-Emirati model was in Canada when he found out that he was apparently kicked out of Saudi
Omar recalls the story for our hosts and explains that he wasn’t actually ‘kicked out’ of the country but was just asked to leave a particular cultural festival called Jenadriyah because he was attracting a lot of female attention.
“When the scene started happening the relgion police back then came and asked me not to cause a problem and told that I have to leave the festival.”
But if good looks were a crime then Omar Borkan is guilty as charged
