Pictures taken from space show how much Dubai has changed

You know when you’re just minding your own business, doing nothing much and then you see something that makes you go: WOW! Well, that’s what just happened when we saw this tweet from Dubai Media Office. It shows pictures taken from space that show how much Dubai has changed between 2001 and 2012.

In the earlier picture The Palm Jumeirah and The World islands are nowhere to be seen. In fact there’s not much to be seen at all, the urban metropolis that now exists is nothing but barren desert with a small built up area.
