5 Pools That Need To Be On Your To-Do List This Eid Holiday

Avatar

Have you lived here long enough that a day trip to the pool mid-July doesn’t faze you? Great, because if so, this list is for you. Yeah we know it’s hot, but every spot on this list comes equipped with temperature controlled pools, plenty of shade and, best of all, the usual crowds that tend to clog up the loungers usually steer clear this time of year.

Here are a couple of slick pools you need to check out

1. The Address – Dubai Marina

An infinity pool in the heart of the Marina is pretty much an ideal setting if you ask us. There is plenty of space in this 36.5 metre pool for serious swimmers and loungers for those who want to work on their healthy glow. Shades, the poolside bar, offers up a wide range of nibbles and drinks and goes on serving well after sunset too, making this is a perfect day-to-night spot.

How much? AED 200 on weekdays and AED 300 on weekends

2. Zero Gravity – Dubai Marina, Skydive Dubai Drop Zone

This venue has pretty much everything you need. We’ve raved before about their evening brunch (which is still ongoing) but they also have one of the newest (and slickest) pools in Dubai. The ultra-modern glass fronted infinity pool is surrounded by day beds and loungers and the bathrooms happen to be some of the swankiest in town – perfect if you want to do a quick change from day gear to evening wear.

How much? Starting from the first day of EID entry is only AED 150 and they’ll give you AED 150 back in food and drinks vouchers…this one is practically free! Offer is valid until 31st August.

3. Wadi Adventure – Al Ain

For the more adventurous among us, (and for those willing to travel) Wadi Adventures has a great Eid deal available. The price includes entry to the park, rafting, zip lining, having a go on the giant swing, swimming pool access and a meal. Arrive early to skip the queues for this one.

How much? AED 170 (saving AED 55 from the usual price). Bookings for this deal are only valid from July 6th – 9th.

4. Ahasees Spa and Club – Grand Hyatt Dubai

If we were rating the best pools in Dubai, this one at the Grand Hyatt would easily make the list. Although the main hotel pool is being refurbished, it should be ready just in time for Eid. This is an entire fitness club that features both indoor and outdoor pools which are temperature controlled and even boast an underwater sound system…sweet!

How much? Non-members pay AED 300 on weekdays and AED 400 on weekends.

5. Anantara – The Palm Dubai

The beachside 50 metre long infinity pool is perfect for kiddies, while the swim-up pool bar is the ideal spot for the rest of us to spend a couple of our hard-earned days off. With three lagoon pools, a jacuzzi and 400 metres of private beach, there is no shortage of space at this five star resort.
