The United Arab Emirates has broken another world record as they set a new Guinness World Record for achieving the longest line of photographs ever gathered.

The line of photographs measures up to more than 1.5km and is a collection of more than 10, 850 photographs that have been put together by residents as well as tourists of the UAE.

To enter the opportunity to be a part of the record-breaking, customers of Carrefour in selected places were able to submit photographs of their happiest memory between the days July 30 and Aug 9. This only applied at the  Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Festival City.

The campaign that started and successfully broke the record was titled as ‘Celebrating Great Moments together’ and was a collaboration between Procter & Gamble and Carrefour, which is operated by Majid Al Futtaim

The collection can be seen at Dubai Festival City

“Families and children have always been at the heart of Guinness World Records and we take great pride to be a part of this unique and memorable experience that showcases moments of happiness shared by families and loved ones. We are always keen in bringing an ‘officially amazing’ experience to our core audience, and what better than to deliver the experience in a manner that expresses joy for moments of togetherness through the ‘Great Moments’ campaign.”
